oh man... i have not seen "pretty" mexican food ever.
no really, i've always just gotten my burrito wrapped up, hott and down my throat cuz it was just usually the fast food types in california...

we went to a sit down bar/restaurant this time in texas... YUUUMMMMMMilicious.. and soo pretty too... i love tamales.. oh, which there are no pictures of.. but we got 14... but this was my food =) 2 shredded beef chimichangas and a spinach and corn enchilada... so good.

tiramisu.

i am quite certain, that i have been wanting to have tiramisu ever since i went to a sushi lunch some time ago. i was more than happy to eat 2 at the @ the restaurant and 1 in the car/at home (if it ever made it that far).

we made a special trip to cost plus world market today as i have been wanting to desperately go back since i went to the one in california for the first time. there were about 7 different flavors of this particular food product and i was more than happy to buy the one tastefully named tiramisu.

oatmeal thoughts and my sister.

so, the many clever conversations for the vacation begins. as well as the references to "old." my sarcasm n wit wouldn't have gotten me anywhere without this 6-year-younger version of i.

Me: i like oatmeal.
Sister: i dont, it's for old people.
Me: (face) but it has flavors too.
Sister: well when ur old it doesn't matter cuz ur tastebuds are expired.

i LOVE THESE COOKIES!!!! so good. from stater brothers i think.. i could eat them all day... but then menaka's family would be deprived.

i have not made cookies in FOREVER. thanks to an 8 year old + menaka's skills.. i assisted in the creation of the set-the-oven-for-10-hours-instead-of-10-minutes-and-then-were-in-the-backyard-for-too-long-and-forgot-about-the-cookies-in-the-oven.

that would be one of the cupcakes that catherine created.. with "whoopee goldberg hair" according to josh and a little hersheys kiss in the middle of it.. jen picked up the pizza and menaka provided that 7 up... good snacks for nearly a week of not eating properly..

food for college.

this is the lunch of a broke college student... bread, cheese and crackers from a banquet dinner 1 week ago.. which eli and i weren't even guests of but went anyway.. that eclair is from even longer ago.. the 4 friends in had in the box were eaten previous to this...

last day of clinicals.

ohh.. dont u underestimate my half regular cream cheese half strawberry bagel.. it was the best. especially on those cheese bagels?? awesomely nice. this was brought in for the staff on our last day of clinicals.. i couldn't help but take one... i like bagels and cream cheese.

love cafe's.. bakeries.. and pastries.

this one is where my cousin works in Temple City.. I believe it's called Cafe Roule...

though she lied to me and said the muffin was good (it was cheese, and i like cheese).. it was very dry.. but EVERYTHING else was awesome... esp that crispy wafer stuff... sigh.

Kabuki: Temple City.

UGH. life is good with good food. Kabuki in Temple City? was different change from the one in Rancho Cucamonga... no sit-in tables in Rancho.. but sure are present at this one..

i didn't touch the salad of course.. but i had my moments with the chicken teriyaki.. and like 3 bowls of rice.. i love rice.

this was probably the .. 3rd? lucille's outing for eli and i.. this time, courtesy of my little cousin, who won us a $50 gift card at my school. (ask me for the story haha)... yea.. she had the raffle ticket that won.. pretty amazing.. so was the food.

school and thanksgiving dinner.

why yes, this would be the famous night that my cousin won us a $50 gift card to lucille's. my school was having a free thanksgiving dinner to the first 200 people.. i was actually worried that they werent going to let kids in.. (eli and mieca came to pick me up from school on this day).. but as tickets go.. we got our three tickets.. one being the one that won us the restaurant food... OH. and eli also won the apple cider center piece because he had the purple star under his chair. =D
